Sponsor a Seeing Eye Dog
The Rodgers Foundation will donate $25,000 to The Seeing Eye, Inc. in Morristown, NJ in support of its mission to enhance the independence, dignity, and self-confidence of people who are blind or visually impaired, through the use of specially trained Seeing Eye® dogs.
About This Project
The Rodgers Foundation is proud to announce our latest fundraising initiative, aimed at empowering the visually impaired community. This venture is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a mission to bridge the gap between canines and humanity, creating lifelong partnerships that transform lives.
What Your Donation Supports
Puppy Raising & Breeding: Your generous donations will aid in the meticulous breeding and nurturing of puppies destined to become heroes. This is the first and crucial step to ensuring the health and temperament suitable for guide work.
Extensive Training: Training a Seeing Eye® dog is a rigorous process. With your help, each dog undergoes intensive training, ensuring they’re equipped to be the eyes for those who cannot see.
Blind Partner Training: Empowering the blind doesn’t end with providing a dog. The Seeing Eye also offers comprehensive training programs for the blind to efficiently, confidently, and safely handle their Seeing Eye® dogs.
Canine Health & Development Research: Pioneering research into canine health and development ensures the longevity and well-being of Seeing Eye® dogs, allowing them to perform their duties at peak condition.
How You Can Contribute
Make a One-Time Donation: Every bit helps. Make a one-time donation of any amount to aid in ongoing care, training, and research.
Why It Matters
Your support empowers visually impaired individuals to live independent, fulfilling lives. The bond between a Seeing Eye® dog and its partner is profound and life-changing. By contributing to our cause, you are not only supporting these four-legged heroes but also championing human dignity, resilience, and independence.
